About the Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer and seller of high-quality Interior doors and Exterior doors for both residential and commercial purposes.

The client had a past history of Google Panda and Penguin Penalty, which badly affected the ranking of the client’s website, as it had various low-quality backlinks. 

The work on this client’s website was quite a challenging one, and therefore we had to create a strategic approach to overcome all the technical and SEO issues that the client’s website was facing.

The Game Plan

  • Website SEO Audit  – Identifying & Resolving Important SEO Audit Issues
  • On conducting an in-depth and extensive website audit, we identified some critical technical issues that required immediate action. Duplicacy of Content, Un-optimized XML Sitemaps, incorrect Canonical Tags, improper Internal linking, missing Meta Creations (Titles and Descriptions), Paginated Pages, and many such technical issues were detected.

    Our specialized team of On-Page experts suggested SEO audit recommendations along with the necessary steps that can be taken to increase the traffic organically for the client’s website. 

    To resolve all these technical and SEO issues, we created a fresh sitemap of the important product pages, identified the cause of the duplicate URLs, added self canonical tags to the paginated pages, and other necessary actions were required. 

  • Adding Unique Content on Category Pages & Blogs
  • Content duplicacy was a major issue that needed to get resolved immediately. As the client manufactures and sells a wide range of products, it was necessary for all the product pages to get crawled easily by the search engines. 

    For all the product pages to rank, we started adding rich quality and unique content to the category pages, description pages, and blogs. The content is required to be fresh to portray the USP of the products that the client sells.

    Adding fresh content to all the pages of the website played a major role in not just increasing the organic visibility of the client’s website, but also recovering from the Google Panda and Penguin Penalty. The majority of the client’s website pages still hold the top position in the search engines (to date).

  • Building High-Quality Backlinks 
  • The client’s website did not have a single backlink from an authority website. Hence, our primary goal since day-1 was to build credible backlinks for the client’s website. We started with creating fresh, unique, and high-quality content in order to obtain reliable backlinks.

    Our approach was never to target abundant websites, instead we decided to go with just a few good ones for boosting the organic visibility of the client’s website. For building high-quality backlinks we had used only two link-building techniques – HARO and Guest Posting. 

    So far, we’ve earned credible backlinks from well-known websites such as Spruce, Bustle, Realtor, MSN, Business Insider, Insider.com, and many more authority websites as well.
